PATIENT REVIEWS

“Dr. Margo has been such a valuable member of my healthcare team. I came into her clinic with a referral for pelvic pt from my GP after experiencing years of various pelvic floor dysfunction symptoms that were not previously identified or diagnosed. I had a normal amount of anticipatory anxiety about what to expect before my first appointment, but her confident knowledge and compassionate presence were supportive and helpful in making my initial evaluation feel comfortable and safe both physically and emotionally. It was a validating experience to review medical history symptoms and have her attention, understanding and support. I also appreciated that during this process, she was willing to discuss and provide research on different possible conditions based on my mysterious collection symptoms to have more informed conversations with my doctor. We identified goals to work toward and a manageable plan for me to continue at home outside of regular therapy sessions. Dr Margo has an extensive network of various local healthcare practitioners for referrals and collaborative treatment plans including western medicine and alternative healthcare providers which was also helpful in moving toward a diagnosis and finding relief from digestive symptoms and pain management. She is a strong and effective communicator and advocate for her patients with physicians offices. Approximately, 5 months into pelvic pt treatment, my gynecologist diagnosed me with stage 4 endometriosis. Dr. Margo helped me process the diagnosis and continued to be supportive, and open to many discussions on how to care for my chronic inflammatory condition while also recovering from excision surgery. Her passion for teaching clients how to care for themselves is demonstrated in the heartfelt way she cares for her patients. With my diagnosis, pelvic floor physical therapy would have eventually been a part of my journey, but I am forever grateful that Dr. Margo was my intro to pelvic PT, such an important and personal experience.” ⁃ Melanie G.

“I read all of these success stories on Margo’s instagram account and never thought I’d be writing one to be honest. I’m a pediatric PT and stayed active lifting weights throughout both of my pregnancies. I had two non complicated vaginal deliveries 17 mos apart with grade two anterior perineal tearing. I noticed a gurgle post first delivery and a little difficulty inserting and keeping a tampon in place but most of my symptoms appeared post second delivery. I was diagnosed with a grade 1 cystocele by a urogynecologist after requesting a referral based on the POP principles course and account which I found after pelvic floor PT in person didn’t resolve all of my symptoms. I am so happy to say 18 mos post second delivery with a ring pessary I am asymptomatic and feeling stronger than ever. I’m feeling more confident

About carrying and delivering a third child and advocating for myself as a mom and a patient. I can’t thank Margo enough for helping shape my physical and mental approach to this diagnosis and I know mine is mild compared to many people challenged with this.” - Amy
